What We Believe

Two children learn a little about history as they show their enthusiasm for a World War I replica. The famous S.E.5a helped the allies regain air superiority during the summer of 1917 and maintain it for the rest of the war. E-flite's tribute to this combat legend, the S.E.5a Slow Flyer 250, is an electric, semi-scale version of the fighter that offers RC pilots a more majestic type of slow flight.

Our Values

Horizon Hobby's emphasis on helping people have fun with hobbies and solid core values is the inspiration for outstanding product expertise and tremendous attention to the needs of customers. Specifically, three central values drive the Horizon approach and serve as the company's foundation:

Inverted Pyramid

Golden Rule
Treat each other, each customer and each supplier with utmost respect as we would best like to be treated ourselves.

Customer is Boss
A caring, "can-do" attitude in every situation.

Inverted Pyramid A Servant/Leadership Model.
Lead by making others better. While innovation, development and marketing of quality products are what we excel at, fostering the growth of our people and those we do business with is the focus that drives us. Thats why the servant/leadership model is perhaps our most important value.

A traditional organizational chart is not something you will find at Horizon Hobby. We believe that our customers and staff are the most important elements of our business. Customers are placed at the "top" while our CEO/president is at the "bottom," supporting the rest of the organization. This model encourages personal and professional growth of employees so that they not only excel at their jobs, but also develop essential qualities that go beyond their contributions to Horizon.

By building a sense of community in the workplace, the servant/leadership model eventually provides its strongest support to customers.
