Who We Are

Horizon Hobby is an international developer, marketer and distributor of radio control (RC) hobby products, model trains and a wide range of educational, toy and other hobby products.

Horizon Hobby is an employee-owned company made up of over 700 people who are all passionate about one thing: helping people around the world have fun with hobbies. To that end, we develop, distribute and retail some of the most innovative and exciting RC (Radio Control) and model train hobby products available. We also distribute educational kits, toys and hundreds of other hobby related items. Our Corporate headquarters, along with the main distribution facility and product service center, are located in Champaign, Illinois. Additional distribution centers are located in Ontario, California; Harlow, England (Horizon Hobby UK Ltd.); Elmshorn, Germany (Horizon Hobby Deutschland GmbH); and Shanghai, China (Horizon Hobby China). California is also home to our Surface Development Team (TLR, Losi, ElectrixRC and ProBoat) as well as our Athearn model train Development Team.Through these facilities and committed partnerships with other manufacturers, suppliers and retailers, we are able to deliver outstanding products and service to hobby consumers all over the world.
